Requirements:

Roles/Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy in hours, deductions, and employee compensation.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable using QuickBooks.
  • Perform routine accounting tasks, including account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling financial records.
  • Process invoices, payments, and transactions across multiple entities.
  • Ensure bills, payroll, and vendor payments are processed accurately and on time in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Coordinate order entry with production schedules and ensure alignment with delivery timelines.
  • Review and compare purchase orders, pricing, terms, and shipping charges to ensure accuracy.
  • Expedite rush orders, handle order changes, and assist with shipping/logistics when needed.
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including posting job openings, screening resumes/applications, coordinating with hiring managers, and scheduling interviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable HR laws and regulations, including employment standards, workplace safety, and anti-discrimination policies. Stay informed on changes to state and federal labor laws and assist in updating internal policies as needed.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plan, etc.), ensuring employees receive timely and accurate information on available offerings, enrollment, changes, and deadlines. Coordinate with providers (e.g., Delta Dental, SIMPLE IRA administrators) to manage annual renewals, rates, plan updates, and applicable IRS deadlines.
  • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Assist with answering phones and greeting visitors.
  • Provide assistance to management and executives as needed.

Job Description

  • Design and develop product prototypes and systems, integrating engineering principles and the latest technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and marketing, to ensure product designs meet customer needs and production capabilities.
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications for product designs.
  • Conduct simulations and stress tests to validate design specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze and improve existing products based on feedback from customers and production teams.
  • Document design processes and results, maintaining clear and accurate records for future reference.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product design and development, preferably in a related industry.
  • Expertise in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
